So I have had an issue with my TM where if I run it at over 50% for any amount of time it pops a fuse, these are the original inline fuses so I was going to change them out. I noticed I have a fuse on both the positive and negative side of one TM battery. Is this the correct set up for a 36volt set up???

They run one on the crosss over cable to make 24 volts and 36 volts. The breakers are probably old and weak, plus older trolling motors pull more amperage after things get more wear on them.

10-4 They are so corroded I am going to have to cut the wires and put new ends on. Cant them the nut off of them.

Petroleum jelly keeps the ends, connections and fittings from corroding. These are not stainless breakers as stainless was not available in the studs till BUSS made the newer style about 4 years ago.

what boat do you have? I ask because on boats with 6ga trolling motor wires, you should be running breakers instead of fuses. If you have smaller than 6ga, you should consider upgrading due to the size of todays trolling motors.JohnJones Trolling Motor Services870 773 3474Motorguide/MinnKota/PowerPole/Lowrance/Humminbird

I am upgrading the connectors and breakers and adding the stuff to keep it from rusting in the future. Having to cut the wires since I cant get them off.
