Anyone run fortrex or terrova on a sabre Im leaning towards a new terrova wondering about weight and bow lift issues on plane Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I had an 80# fortress on my 2010 sabre. It handled it fine.

Im running a 80 lb Fortrex on my 2017. Yes, it weighs a bit more than some, but its built like a tank, and pulls the Sabre around easily. At speed, I get plenty of bow lift with a 175 SHO and 24″ SHO prop. I am between the fortrex and terrova the motor guide must goIve never liked motorguideIm leaning toward the terrova because of the link features Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have an 08 Sabre, I had a Terrova, it was a great motor but I hated the way it hung over the front of the boat. I have a fortrex now with link and like it much better. My cover fits again and no hassle of sliding the Terrova back before loading and unloading, on certain ramps if you did not slide it back it would hit the front roller. i also like the power cable steer over the electric steering, for the type of fishing I do it is better.
