Trying to prop my advantage elite.

I have a little steering torque but not a ton. I carry some weight but not as much as most. I usually have all the fuel it will hold for some of our long runs. Two people are in the boat 90% of the time. The motor that was on my 04 was a 250 yamaha HPDI. I am rounding up some props to test from some friends. I will run these props till I find good all around prop and then start moving the motor. It did pretty good yesterday morning. I came in at the 75.6 mph mark. I do not believe that I am far off just thought I would try to get the rest out of it. Also I was told that the Mercury will slowly turn loss of more power as the hours increase. Anything to this? P.S. BCB thanks for not discontinuing the deck layout of the old FTD/Elite.
