Underground fence for dogs

Just moved into a new house with a three acre yard. 1.5 acres of it has an underground electric fence with collars for both of my labs. One ran through it today so I took her collar off to “test” it. Holy [url=mailto:#$&&%@$%^%]#$&&%@$%^%[/url]^ !!!!!!!! It Worked!!

Coahoma county Mississippi River Rat. The dog just shook her head laughing and muttered “dumbas”………… No urine involved. Still feel the tingling in my arms

My neighbor had one of those installed in is yard. He has 2 dogs a little bitty one and a big one. The big one just kept walking through the fence. He took his collar off to take back to the store and the plastic covers over the metal probes were still on. The dog was not feeling anything. So he put the collar back on and drug the dog back and forth a couple of times across the fence so he would know what it does, after the 2nd time the dog was like, im not stupid, I get it!! He had all 4 legs planted in real good. After that, never had a problem again.

I used to use such a device so that my dog would not leave the yard in order to produce offspring, but I decided that this is a very cruel way. Therefore, in order to protect my dog from all sorts of diseases, I decided to spay it. After reading about spaying for dogs , I learned that neutered dogs are kinder, they make fewer mistakes than other dogs, and rarely mark their territories and they have no goal to leave the territory to walk with other dogs and bring offspring.
