Upgrading Trolling motor question?

I need some advice. Im currently running a 82lb MG with my 07 Classic and would love to upgrade to a 109lb thrust. Ive heard that we can use our cranking battery instead of purchasing another battery to turn the 36v 109lb. Is this true? I hope so because im not even sure if the Classic has room for an additional battery. Im sure some of you guys are wondering why i need a 109lb thrust on a 19 foot boat. One word, POTOMAC! Thanks, Mike

We have used the cranking battery for years. Though we do suggest a strong one and the list of batteries on the FAQ section of this board is a start. We use lots of amperage during a days fishing and our studies have shown that failures in the cranking battery are a result of heavy use by the boat, and secondary use by the troller. Not the other way around, so a quality battery in an AGM we would suggest.

On the subject of batterys. Most of the AGMs dont have the MCAs and RCs the Marine Master Deka 27M6. BCB, what do you think about this battery, evn though it is a wet cell and yall suggest mostly AGMs. I know this subject has been beat to death and I have been looking for the l best battery at the best price and least weight plus 1000 MCAs with RCs.
