Since Scubaman is referring to my boat I just sent him some befores for comparison. We still need to put the new decals on it, put the handrails back on and put the new gauges I ordered on but trust me, IT IS NIGHT AND DAY from what it was when I bought it. He did an awesome job. Just took a lot of work, a broken arm (for me) and a crapload of money. Together we like to refer to her now as White Elephant but I am really happy with the way it shaped up and whod a thunk my first boat ever would be a 19 Bass Cat with a 200HP Evinrude that I already get compliments on. Only thing I really want to do still is repaint the trailer but that is gonna have to wait until next year. To the OP, It is a solid boat. Mine was not well taken care of by the previous owner and yet, during the test ride, Scubaman had it airborne off a wake on the Tennessee River and it held up great (yes I darn near had to change my shorts when we came back in). I have had it out quite a bit as a new boater and made some inevitable new boater mistakes and she took them like a champ. I would say that your boat choice for starting over is a perfect choice and you wont be disappointed.Last edited by Tbretthauer on August 24th, 2012, 12:20 pm, edited 1 time in total.
