Who has ordered a boat with the vinyl ester resin upgrade? No boats in dealer inventory list it as an added option. I do understand why that it is. I’m trying to gauge whether it’s worth it or not.

Advantage and Vision boats will not have VE in most cases. The best answer is based on your use and ownership span.

I think it is standard as part of the Premium line of boats. It is included in the construction.

My Caracal has the vinyl ester resin. It was important to me, as I plan to keep this boat for quite a while. It will probably be the last boat I buy, unless I win the lottery soon. lol

My understanding is that all BCB models have a VE barrier coat, but the premium models also have it in all of the outer layers as well. If I were ordering a non-premium model, and planning on having it for a long time, I would upgrade to VE on the outer layers as well.
