I AM HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE PAD SWITCHES LAST WEEK END THE LIVE WELL WOULD NOT WORK ,ONE TIME HORN WOULD NOT WORK IF I REACH UNDER DASH AND MOVE THE WIRES IT HAS STRATED WORKING, ANY ONE ELSE HAD ANY PROBLEM WITH THIS PAD.

Went through that drill with my 2008 Classic about 6 weeks ago. Youve done the right thing so far. I would guess BCB will answer with some advice soonest. The touchpad is an easy item to change. Good luck.

Yes, the touch pad overlay probably is the culprit. Parts will send you a new overlay or your dealership can install it if you prefer.

Thanks, I will contact them tomorrow. Do I need to do anything else beside disconnecting the negative side of the battery?

Switches, touch pads, or other systems all can have occasional issues. The Vision Touch pad has had some failures in the actual pad itself when new. Since those first few Othas been fairly reliable overall. Before you assume its the pad check those connections under the console as wiggling wires wont help a faulty touch pad or the ECM it connects to.

checked pad today fresh water switch workes sometime and sometime will not work the button does not click like the others do ,my boat is 2012 think maybe i have a bad switch
