I bought a 2008 Pantera Classic new from a dealer in 2008. It has been great. A couple of weeks ago I was fishing and went to pump water into the live well with the aerator switch. The boat has the Vision Touch Pad system. It wouldnt come on. I also tried the bilge pump and it wouldnt work. After messing with switches for a while I reached under the console behind the pad and bumped the ribbon cable with my hand. When I did this the pumps would work for a little bit but not consistently. I had a new Humminbird fishfinder put on at a “R” dealer that is close by. They used to be a Bass Cat dealer a long time ago. I asked the mechanic to check for loose connections on the back of the pad while he had the boat. After looking at it he said that it looked like it was in the ribbon cable and that the unit would probably have to be replaced. He could make the condition come and go by movement of the cable. The boat is garage kept and not been in the rain since October.Anyone had similar problems?Thanks,2Sport
