I have a quick question and hope someone can help me. I have a 96 p2 w/200 efi model. And just recently while running it seems that my motor is not charging my cranking battery. It shows no increase in volts while running. Usually while running I am reading between 13.5-14.2 volts. And now it just stays at 12.5 all day. With two graphs and aerators running, it drops to around 12.2 by the end of the day. My question would be is this the voltage regulator? It doesnt seem to be drawing down when making long 10-12 mile runs at all. Any help is greatly appreciated.Thanks, Andrew

Dont know what motor you are running, but if the alternator is belt driven that would be the first and easiest thing to check. The belts do break!

Stator? Had a 99efi same thing. Mine was the stator. Take the vaseline with u when you have it fixed mine wasnt cheap…
