The Wake Light is not overly bright like those imagined, it only comes in white and does present another safety feature when used in conjunction to other required lighting, while not conflicting with USCG regulations. Just like the new dual LED rear step lighting on Lynx, its only in white and really just emits rearward and it supports safety improving visibility for approaching vessels. The goal was improving safety like the first center brake lighting did on vehicles. While cosmetics definitely come into play when a Bass Cat is being designed, just plain cool often takes a back seat if it provides no function. The design features on a BCB are function driven and everything from the trolling motor where a deck design starts, a console, the seating or livewells are all designs with specific purpose. The layouts all have a function in their thoughts and they do actually start the deck designs with the trolling motor areas and shaft angles. Thats where we spend the majority of our time and where placement of graphs, angles of shaft how we pitch around the head and the foot buttons all make the majority of our time more quality. The cool features become integrated with aesthetics into lighted rails, cowl scoops, wake lights, docking lights and how it all comes together. This one mentioned is also a safety driven goal. BCB
