My Sabre is sold. the money is in the bank. my perfect boat would be a 08-12 Puma or Eyra, mercury 225 or 250, minn kota trolling motor, humminbird 900+, white or silver cap.The best deal Ive found is a 2012 Cougar FTD/250 with dual poles and 2 humminbird 1100 for $41,500. …this at past the upper edge of my price range but other than color, its perfect. after watching you tube videos describing all the models, the Puma looks pretty nice too. it looks like the pantera IV has no cooler. did I miss something in that video? it looks like you would have trouble stuffing a 6 pack in that little sucker. what do the P4 owners do for a cooler?

nix the pantera IV… I didnt know they had such small built in coolers. I fish tournaments in 100 degree MS heat. I need a big cooler.

The puma ftd has a large step cooler that is well insulated. The middle seat position is also used for drinks. I find it does not hold ice as good in the heat as the step cooler. Good luck in your search. When searching used generally you might have to sacrifice some as finding everything exactly as you want can be daunting.

my number one want is another Basscat. my “must haves” are minn kota, humminbird …or no electronics/no trolling motor(and priced accordingly). Im not picky at all about options like lighted compartments, reverse lights, and other bells and whistles. I wish I could go back in time and buy the 2012 cougar advantage/225 that I almost bought in 2013 for $39,900 new. Im trying not to be too picky about colors. I really dont want to be searching for 6 months to end up in a ranger or something.

my boat sold yesterday. I really dont want to go more than 200 miles from jackson, MS. I need something priced under $35,000. looking at Pantera 2, Puma, and Eyra. I will do NOT want a dual console, motorguide trolling motor, or lowrance electonics. …nothing against your equipment, I just dont want to pay for something I dont want. I need a boat! there is almost nothing for sale in MS.
