Warning Beeps

Im no guru…but I think the beeps only occur relative to oil pressure or engine temperature. I had a 04 and had to change the “P” valve (cant remember what the “P” stands for) to the new mushroom style to allow it to open and close….beep would go off when I idled to long and stayed on until I put it on plane. Found out the hard way that the Yamahas have to be flushed with the water hose regularly if you idle through alot of shallow water. Whats your motor doing? Take the cowling off and see if the Motor oil tank is full.

Im going out on a limb here but I think yamaha beeps when—– water in fuel, low oil, over heat , and over rev. They dont have a change in beeps like mercury. As always hook up the computer. You can check your fuel filter, drain and flush your vst tank, and check the oil resoviour for correct oil level. Motors are getting smart
