Guys quick question. Alot of used boats have quite a bit of warranty left on them. I have read that if the engine is not broken in properly, it will void the warranty. My guess is that you take it to a certified Mercury tech, the tech will tell you if the motor has been broken in by the book? Also, if the tech is a certified by Merc, is his/her opinion binding? Example, I buy a used BCB in Alabama the Merc tech there says the motor has x years of warranty remaining, something happens the day I bring it to Arkansas and the Merc tech here in Arkansas says, no dice, not covered under warranty because engine was not properly broke in or prior owner did something to void the warrany. Have any guys had any issues with this problem and should it be a concern if I buy used? Thanks -Lee
