Was out on the water in my 2010 Sabre today and I noticed water dripping down the inside of the boat from underneath the dash. I got up under there and cant determine where the water is coming from. It is definately water and only drips down when I am on plane at speeds over 40 mph. I am assuming that it might be the hose leading to the water pressure gauge? I am going to get out there tomorrow and tighten all the clamps I see under the dash. Anyone have any other suggestions or know what could be causing this. The drip is enough to wet the carpet in a small area under the throttle. I am only a mile from Bowden Marine but rather not have her in the shop if I can find and fix myself. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
Its probably the hose for the water pressure gauge. I had the same issue on my 06CougarFTD, just got it tighter and it was okay. Could be the speedo maybe.
It is probably the speedometer hose and not the water pressure hose. Though it will have drops of water on the hose that is leaking. Just look under there with a flash light and see. BCB
