the lake where i live is being sucked dry at a rate of 370cfs 24/7. realy makes the fishing tought not to mention the number of boaters not paying attention creating alot of torn up boats. this is the ramp where i live.

Wheres the ramp? Looks like you took the picture from the highway…sorry to hear and see this. It does look bad..so you just launch from shoreline or is there a solid ramp somewhere? Does it have to do with the forest fires out there? How do other people feel and what does the local government have to say? this is from the parking lot at the top of the ramp, at Heritage Ranch Village, outside of Paso Robles, Ca. Monterey Co. is allowing this. 1 to replenish the aquafers in the Salinas Valley ( salt intrution), along with a spillway, and 2 water pipeline projects. the lake is at 16% and dropping like a rock. projection is that by Jan 1 2010 the lake will be down over 73,000 ac-ft. at full pool the lake is around 20miles long. they call it the dragon, because from the air in looks like a dragon. g.

Might be a great time to take pics and look it over very carefully. It may produce some new places to fish that you never knew about.
