Wax or Sharkhide on Rocca Rims

Spent last weekend with Blue Magic Metal Polish and a Mothers Power Cone getting all the water spots off my rims. This is a good combination to do the job. Power cone does all the work, but it is time consuming. Spent about 45 minutes per rim. Now that all the spots are gone, I read here that some are using Sharkhide to keep the spots from coming back as quickly. I use Sharkhide on my Detwiler Jack Plate, and it looks as good today as it did new in 2007. I am concerned about getting an even coating on the rims and it looking right. Mothers Gold Carnuba Wax will probably be much easier to apply.Any comments will be greatly appreciated.RK

We would try the Sharkhyde, you can always repolish the wheels.

I tried this a few years ago under the name Zoop wheel seal. The inventor sold that formula out and brought this one to market that is cheaper and supposedly better. After polishing the wheels, this seals them where you do not have to polish again or worry about stains.http://www.shineseal.com/

I have the mods wheels, I only use mothers polish , once a year in spring, and wipe down after fishing, I never have spots!!
