What does BCB recommend to protect the finish and seats on a new boat?

BCB has recommended lemon Pledge on the seats. There are many products that deteriorate the stitching in the seats. The Pledge can also be used to shine the boat, but most use a good wax a couple of times a year. In all my yrs and polishes and sealers Ive used the protec is awesome. I put a couple 3 a yr. And generally put a coat of Collinite canuba wax on a couple days after the application of protec.. Protec is good stuff. The degreaser spray is the best tire cleaner Ive used.

Pro-Tec has some of the best UV inhibitors available. Keep in mind Pro-Tec Sealant Polish is a sealant not a wax. It bonds to your finish to give you the best protection available. It is more durable than wax. There is no need to use wax after it unless you just want to as mentioned earlier. Collinite insulator wax is also a good product. But the protec products sound great.

Protec is great for the boat and I touch up with the Showroom through out the season. I usually use Protec sealant in the fall when getting ready to put away for the winter. Give it a good solid going over first then a week or so later do another light coating. In the spring its ready to go. Use the Showroom to remove water spots and or other remnants from the water rest of the year. By the way, both products work great on my Sierra too and my wifes Subaru. If you havent tried on your tow vehicle you are missing out. I keep a bottle of Showroom both home and at camp.Brian

Thanks Brian, I am going to try it on both. The weather down here in Florida is pretty harsh between the sun and the salt in the air.
