Mike Sims went to be with his Lord yesterday after suffering from a long illness with Lou Gehrigs disease. Some of you may have met Mike at the 2007 OI, he fished with his real good friend and partner Randy Bleeker. He was a great fisherman and never let his disease be an excuse. I am a better man to have just known him for a time. Prayers to his family and friends. Gary

My wife and I both met Mike and Randy at the 07 OI. Truly an inspiration for both of us. Two great guys that didnt know the meaning of the two words,”giving up”. Prayers sent from the both of us!
