Weight In Bags

They dont want to produce weigh in bags as a factory item because of the Owners Invitational. This topic has been tossed around more than once, and someone on this board even grouped several together and had some made with the logo year back. Clarification: at the Owners Invitational they limit the number of bags to 25 in use at any one time. This protects the fish and has consistently kept the flow of anglers weighing in. The bag line is long, though time on stage averages less than 30 seconds per team. If they were to offer and sell branded weigh in bags, the concern is that regulating the bag line would be difficult as anglers would be upset that we did not accept the bags we sold for weigh in. The impressions at the weigh in would be insurmountable from all aspects, no matter our decision or the direction it was viewed. to sell BCB weigh in bags is a no win only due to this one event.Last edited by Bass Cat Boats on June 16th, 2013, 1:44 pm, edited 2 times in total.

What about having red weigh in bags which are OI event use only and selling white or black ones with the BCB logo? Thus when you do the OI, the red bags are the only ones accepted and the black/white ones are for other tournament use by the consumers? If it is in the rules which are signed by the attendees, there is no room for complaints.- Chaz
