So word has it that there will be a BCB Owners Event on the Cal Delta in August, is this true? Say it is….
Actually just found via Facebook that YES there will be a West Coast BCB Owners Invitational out of Russos Marina on the California Delta. This is going to be SWEET!!! This will be a great event and Im confident BCB Owners will show up in droves…..Oh and there will be some Giants caught as well….
Well were sure trying to get something going Aug 25/26 Russos Marina on the Delta. There good with the dates and have been great assisting us along with Hook,Line and Sinker. Permits were applied for But we do live in calif and I am going to call again tomorrow and ask “that the #@$% is taking so long” Any further questions, thoughts or ideas please e-mail steves4k@hotmail.com ThanksSteve “Gunz” Molinahttp://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/WestCoastB … vitational
Really looking forward to a West Coast Owners Event, too bad the whole family cant make it out to the Delta in August, it will be a punch and frog fest of epic proportions! I know that Russos Marine is the host marine and do a heck of a job for all of us, they also fill up FAST so another option is right around the corner at Sugar Barge http://www.sugarbarge.com/marina.html they are in the same Slough as Russos and have a limited number of overnight covered berths. It would be great to pull 100 boats for this event.Ash
Were still on for the delta, We may not be the most orginized but were gonna have a good time.Steve “Gunz” Molina
Ash? Aka Speedbump? No wonder hes pushing Sugar Barge. LOL.

They have the capacity to handle 200+ Boats with no problem. What other Marina actually provides Golf Cart shuttle service to and from your vehicle in order to streamline launching and loading, NO ONE….Having it at Russos is a no brainer, oh and havent mentioned covered slips, camping areas which include water, electric and some with FULL Hook Ups. If you have an RV or Camper and are interested in camping, give Lisa a call at Russos and she will take care of ya.. There is also a covered area with picnic tables(20), so you can have your weigh in out of the weather…..Sorry Ash but to compare Sugar Barge to Russos aint even close. Why would B.A.S.S., FLW, WON Bass, and Anglers Choice, launch their events out of Russos,…think about it… enuff said……K Reed
+1000I just fished the Snag Proof Open out of Russos this weekend.A two day event with a 170 plus boat field went off without a hitch! Russos Marina is the ONLY place to hold this event.
I believe Ash was just suggesting Surgar Barge as an option for camp IF Russos camping area is full. Not suggesting that the event be held there.Probably good info for people who dont fish the cal delta often.I dont think Russos holds no more then approx.15 boats/tents in there camping area? Hopefully this event has a few more then that amount. Every big tournament they sell out of spaces! Trust me I know from personal experience!Sounds like it will be a fun time. Hope to make it next year if I can get the days off from work!Jon
HowdyChaz and I are trying to pull this off and we selected this area for two reasons, First is those who peovided us suggestions as to where to hold this event selected this location. Second is the group at Russos, Jene, and others have been very supportive in helping us pull this off. Neither Chaz nor I have much experience at putting together an event nor in holding one such as this. Will we make some booboos along the way, yepper we will and we will learn so we dont make the same mistake twice. But first and for-most we just want to get some BCB owners together and have us some fun. Allot of people say there gonna be there but as of Sunday I had 10 pre-registrations.ThanksSteve “Gunz” Molina
