Trying to decide if I want to sell my 997 (SI with transducer, GPS receiver, etc), 788 (internal GPS), and interlink. Units are probably 6-8 years old but in very good shape. What do you think they are worth? Also, is it easy to transfer GPS data from HB to Lowrance? Another consideration in making the switch…

I am in the same boat….so to speak. Not sure what I am gonna do. Will keep 997 as its side imaging still better than Lowchance. But Lowchance down imaging is so much better.I am definitely getting rid of small unit up front and will sell for 100 and see what happensC.O.D. Jr. III

Old units are always good for use on a secondary boat or party barge.Ward needs a gps unit on his Concorde, so other drivers know where not to go ! Ward really needs to upgrade boats, then the electronic upgrade will be automatic !Last edited by dbasketman on December 21st, 2014, 12:10 am, edited 1 time in total.

The units are newer than 6-8 years if they are internal GPS. Still values would be better per say on the 788 ci than the comparable new value for the 997 SI. The SI unit will sell easily and the 788 ci is almost identical to present units. Someone could really benefit from the 997 side imaging on a used oat and gain a nice GPS also, especially if that is an NVB unit with Navionics mapping.
