Nothing has changed though they wanted to host the event on Norfork in 2021 to kick off the 50th Anniversary of Bass Cat.
They had planned on Guntersville in 2020 and the Classic took precedence. Thus they determined it would be on Smith Lake. Had they gone to north Arkansas this year the event would be cancelled due to the current situation as we would hold it in April there. Also the weather in North Arkansas is not stable enough earlier and while Smith was not perfect it was mid 70’s and sunny on Saturday.
In 2022 they will move it to another location and we feel that will possibly be Beaver Lake again in 2022. Then a rotation possibly elsewhere due to the multiple Arkansas events. Though they have not determined anything potentially planned beyond 2022.
