What is everyone in AR fishing this winter?

I am considering the get5bass winter series. Already fishing ABA. What do you guys and gals plan to fish from now till february?

The get5bass series will be an excellent one to fish!!! I thought about fishing one of them eventhough I help with get5bass. I plan on fishing fruit jars around here, fishing in the north part of the state, and start practicing for next years tournaments like Vince Miller SuperTeam. Here in southeast Arkansas, people have other thing on their mind this time of the year. Course there will be quite a few fish the Bass-o-thon, which is one of the oldest team tournament series in the US

Does anyone know of a good team circuit that hasnt already been mentioned? Doesnt have to be a big group, just something for fun. Also, other than Vinces SuperTeam and Sherwood, are there any other Quest team circuits in Arkansas? John

Ill tell you another one that is an enjoyable group that is team but I fished as solo some last year- Sherwood Bass Club. Entry is $60 per tournament, end of year everyone gets paid based on weight of fish weighed in. Ron Plate and others run it well with a good number of tournaments in the year. I really enjoyed it as well as Vinces circuit for teams and Vinces tuesday nights. But hey- if it were me Id have a river only tournament circuit starting in Dumas and ending at Vine Prarie. I am partial to the aba format. I like fishing alone. I have nothing against a co-anlger or non-boater i have done that before but i do much better by myself. I do wish there was a bigger circuit like BFL or Mr Bass scale that let you fish alone but i know some sorry sucker would try to cheat so its prob not gonna happen. Team deals are fun but my personal preference is alon thta way if you do good its all on you and if you zero its all on you as well. I hat teh feeling of having a good limit or a good day and my co-angler with 0-3 fish it bothers me and affects my day. Thats just the type of person i am.

I understand that feeling. I hate those days when you cant help your partner out!! The problem i have is Im so unlucky when it come to solo tournaments!1 Ward – Good to see you back on here. I thought the AHTD might have abducted you!!
