Sam, Whats this talk about coach Miles going to Michigan? Something in his contract about Michigan? Or just Sat afternoon talking heads garbage? John

The talk is that if CARR retires, then MICH. wants MILES. Les played at MICH. and wife was there also , maybe a cheerleader, I think wifes family is there. Also LES grew up close by , he played for SCHEMBECHLER and coached under him. Nobody knows if he would go if offered, if he wins NC, his contract at LSU would give him about $1.5million increase. He also gets a bonus for SEC championship. Well have to wait and see, HOPE NOT. SAMBAYOU BANDIT

LSU will absolutely destroy us. Our secondary couldnt start for the blind school with what I saw yesterday. Sam, Im with you on this one. I am worried too. If we continue to have these undisciplined games with way to many mistakes we will loose one sooner or later. The Hawgs always play us tough and this year will be no different. Lets just hope we find a way to keep winning. In the end the W is all that counts. I have read about Les Miles contract having some kind of clause in it that prohibits him from leaving for Michigan in some way. I just cant remember what it entales. Ill try to do a little research and find out for you guys. Id like to see Les stick around for a while. I think hes a good coach. You cant complain about his record since he arrived. My understanding is that Miles contract has one buyout, and that is if Michigan became available he wanted to look into it.

Ward is being optimistic ! I see the game as the only POSSIBILITY of Houston Nutt keeping a job in Arkansas, which at this point is moot. This makes the Hogs dangerous, plus the chance of knocking off the #1 team in the country, which by the way would be a shame since no other SEC school has stepped up to make a real challenge this year. This one is for all the marbles boys, and could get interesting if Miles and Nutt both play not to lose instead of playing to win ! Good luck to both teams and may the game be worth watching ! D.

I think there is a stip that will have the coach pay the school about a million bucks if he leaves for Michigan. They wanted a penalty to be big to discourage him from leaving. ( I think!!) pant 2 BOB
