At WOT no one in any type of boat should be doing anything like that. Because that is what happens. The human body is not meant to be thrashed around like that and that is what happens in any kind of high speed wreck. I broke my back and ribs leg and had multiple punktured organs from a high speed humvee wreck in the marines and it takes years to get over something like that. His chest will be hurting for the rest of his days. Safety is paramount.

He is a very lucky man to be alive and able to see his family again. Thanks for the reminder about how quickly things can go wrong on the water.

Wow, I dont even know what to say to that. He is very lucky to be alive after a wreck like that! I would agree the life vest and kill switch helped him out!

YEOOCH! Im glad all turned out OK. Normally when you lose bite on the rear ugly stuff happens up front. I posted over on BBC a month or so ago about bow hooking my Sabre at 68 MPH after just catching a floating trot line. I was lucky and stayed in the boat with minor bruises. That guy was smart to be wearing his safety gear and LUCKY to still be with us. It only takes a second!

That is just a guy that dont know that he needs to slow down. I think he was turning and gunned it there as he went over the wave. NOT A GOOD IDEA. You cannot do it the way he did. Not at that speed. Glad he lived though. Thing that impressed me the most it he aint sushi cause he was pretty close to the motor and that prop is still spinning long enough to finish the job. Light boat and WOT is a bad combination to cross a wave. Noticed the troller and electronics were still attached. Guys lucky to be alive. LOZman

I cant believe he crossed the wake in that manner,he is lucky the boat didnt dig in and flip.Someone was looking out for him that day

Man!?!?!? The only thing that I can say is, Im glad that guys OK! life jackets and kill switchs, very cheap life insurance. Hell be very sore for the next month or two or longer!! I just wonder how many stress cracks that boat has, I noticed that one of the rod locker doors popped open, that was the only one I saw! Chuck
