No a diode is still required to function everything. The amp draw is too light for the ATen circular security system, proaer, light pad. We just dont recall the diode size.

if you install enough LED lights you might get the current draw needed for the systems to work properly.Check the specs on the strip lighting your using. You might need to install a strip on all four sides or more to equal the draw from the one little incandescent light bulb. Thats why everything is going to LED lights.
