Just wondering how you guys would handle a situation. I took my boat to get my batteries wired up to a 36 volt TM in place of the 24volt about 2 months ago. I had them use the starting battery as the third battery. I decided this week that I would just add another battery and move stuff around back there to make it fit. I carefully unhooked wires on starting battery and even taped them to make sure nothing touched and put them on the new battery, while leaving my cranking wires off and hooking them up to a starting batter, again not letting anything short out. I then was making sure everything worked and when checking my lowrance graph it would not come on. It worked perfect when i left my boat at the shop to get work done. I really am positive I didnt do anything to short it out and Im thinking the mechanic must have. I cant prove anything and I thought it may be a fuse, but I put my tester on end of power lead that connect to graph and Im getting 9.7 . I honestly didnt check graph when i got in from shop, just pulled boat in shop and parked it. So should i call shop and ask them if they knew anything about it?
