I was putting my 1197 on this afternoon. I was under the dash and noticed this had a red wire that was broke loose. Looks to be some kind of buzzer? the key still beeps when you turn it off and on. The red wire which i would assume is hot as it ties into a hot wire on the boat is broke right at the housing of the part so there is nothing to connect it back to. It was double side stickied to the brace right above it in the picture.
Do you have an in dash Lowrance Flasher? If so, that looks like the alarm that goes with it. I had one come off the flasher that was on my 06 CougarFTD and it looked just like that.
