You need a micrometer or slide caliper . — Some trailer bearing sets use a different race ( same bearing though ) , that is about .020 smaller than the other one , and no matter how hard you pound , it isnt going to fit . — Measure twice , hammer once . — Hope this helps . — Hoss

I had the same problem and received the bearings and races from parts. I beat the snot out of it and it would not go. Finally went to the auto store thinking they had to be pressed in. He caught the size difference immediately and gave me the right race. The bearings were still the same. What a difference a couple thousands makes.John

Love to Fish is correct. Just did this and was sent the wrong races for the inner. My inner that came out was a L68110. I was sent a L68111 that would not fit. Ordered based on what was on the web page by year model. Double check the size that came out and once you get the right one it goes in just as easy. The size is stamped on the backside of the fattest part of the race, hard to see but a magnifying glass helped a lot to read it.Love to pack bearing………Not.[font=CALIBRI, SANS-SERIF][font=CALIBRI, SANS-SERIF][/font][/font]
