Topic: When did Bolt wrap around to transom begin ?

I am looking at a used 2006 Puma and the bolt does not wrap around the transom. I had a previous 06 classic and the bolt wrapped around. Every pic I can find of a 2006 Puma also wraps around. Is it possible that some early 2006 Pumas and other models had the previous generation of the bolt that stopped at back of hull and did not wrap around ? Thanks for any inputs.

The first 06 that were produced did not have the wrap, it came on models later in year!!BAYOU BANDIT

Actually you are right…technically you are wrong. The wrap around bolt on most models began in 2006. But the wrap around bolt actually started around 1994 with the Eyra, as I have acquired a 96 model which has the wrap around bolt. Thanks for yalls help. Thought it might have been a very early 2006 model puma.

Yes my 06 Puma had wrap around bolts. Thought they all did for 06. Maybe some 06s made it out the door before the change.
