Where did everybody go?

Ive made me a good fishng trip yesterday. May DAD is in town and we are visiting. The water is warming up and I saw a few fish starting to make beds yesterday. Its still too cold for the majority of them but I did see some 59 degree water yesterday. Had a nice stringer about 16 lbs. We caught seven keepers which isnt tearing them up but I felt like we did well for the day. Then I got to show my Old Man what it was like to run across the lake at 79 mph with both of us big boys and full gas and a full livewell. He got a kick out of that. I got a kick out of it myself. Sargent has plenty of water. He goes to Clinton. They have a power plant right off of the lake. Its nice for him. No good for me. Im stuck up near ch-cahgo. Yes I spelled Chicago like that. Im the one that has a whole fricken crap load of ice still on the lakes. Its melting though. Slowly. But its melting. Last Sunday we still had 9-12″ of ice still on some ponds.
