Lower turnouts= Better chance at the $5K first place money Lower turnout= Better chance at making a regional- From regionals- this year they are taking the top 25% or top 50 which ever is greater to the Nationals Bfls have a long standing tradition and have a lot of customer loyalty to them. Which is why they tend to have the larger fields, I gaurantee if folks would give the BWS a chance they will be pleasantly surprised, at least the SO. AL divison was ran very well. The only problem with the lower turnout is they dont pay as deep into the field. The payout percentages are the same based on full field, basically 1 in 5 (20% payed). Other then that fish which ever one you feel you have a better chance of competeing in. Personally I like the BWS, but also have a mercury and a motorguide. I am going to fish a BFL this year on Ross Barnett though as a co angler just to see how that tour is ran…anyone want to link as my boater for march 7th????Last edited by JSLAW on December 14th, 2008, 2:44 pm, edited 2 times in total.
