O.K. Thinking about upgrading to a bigger and newer boat. Which boat is faster, the Puma FTD or the Couger FTD? What do you like better about one or the other? What would be your choice if you had to chose one of these boats and why?Thanks in advance for the input!

Buller, 1 of the things that makes BCB so Unique is their options for you the consumer on the hottest selling size,20ft. The Puma and Cougar FTD are the same boat with a different front top deck, the rear decks, seats, and fuel tank location are all the same, and as you probably know the 20ft 4inch hulls are all the same….the guys will post their opinions on speeds and rides, but Im sure they are the same…..Killer boats and with the 2011 Revisions you will get the best of the 20ft4inch boats……Brannon

Thanks for the information. Your right, my bad, now that I took the time to read all the information about the boats I see that they have the same hull and the main diffierence is in the front layout and the compartments. I need to figure out which layout I like better, then decide if I am going to buy new or used prostaff boat. Decisions, decisions, decisions!

Choose the deck layout you like best.

The cougar FTD may be just a hair faster, due to the fwd deck layout of not having additional fiberglass and bracing for the net holder and being a tad lighter then the Puma. Though most would consider this barely noticeable. Both boats set up correctly and weight distributions ( do you carry bass pro shope with you) being ideal should be a 76-80 mph boat with any of the 250 motors
