I have a crack in my prop (27 trophy plus) and need to replace it. Is the fury any better? I have a 2007 Puma w/250proXS. The Trphy did ok. A little slow on the hole shot, and about 71 to 72 mph @5600rpm this time of year. If the Fury is any better top end or shot, I would try it. Thanks for any help in advance.
I have an 06 Puma w/250XS and ran a 27 Trophy and I switched to a 26 Fury…I havent looked back! I carry a pretty heavy load and this time of year run right at 76 or so with excellent hole shot. I also tried a 27 Fury but really wasnt the prop for my rig…I ran faster but didnt run the RPMs I wanted to with a heavy load. My 2 cents worth…good luck!
I would highly recommend the Fury, its a much better prop. It should improve hole shot significantly. I have an 09 Cougar and switched from 26 trophy prop to a 26 fury and it was that much better.
Im running a 26 Fury on my 09 Puma FTD, and I love it. Easy to drive, good holeshot–and compared to a Trophy, it will push the hull up on the trailer. Much easier when fishing alone. Mike Whitten/Germantown, TN
