I was sure rooting for Va. Tech. Now it looks like 1/2 of the teams for the BCS championship game is set. Gotta hand it to Boise State. Seems they always find a way to pull it off. I just wish they would play some more real teams.

The only question… Will they be ranked #1 at any point in the season?As far as last night goes, without a few gifts early, that could have been a different story. That being said, they made mistakes too and veteran, well coached teams find ways to win early games when they dont play all that well. They are going to be a fun team to watch. Too bad they werent in a real league with maybe 3 or 4 tough games instead of just 1 until bowl time. Funny thing last year when we beat VT we were not put in the BCS Championship game. Seems like we had to be Florida in Dec. to get in and win 8 SEC Conference games. Just sayin. I bet Bosie drops one in conference this year. They are the hunted now.

Seems unfair that we are barely in September and there is only one team that, if they win out, will be in the big game. As unlikely as it is, what if a big 12 team and a SEC team ran the table? How about someone in the Big 10 and the Pac 10? I love what a team like Boise does to college football. this reason is why we need a playoff so we can stop the speculation if a non bcs team can hang or not it will allow whom ever is playing the best football to rise to the top
