First that is not what you would consider to be a crack, and it is not any issue at all. Especially on a 1997 model P2! That is a Flex Joint which is a tell tale for our uses. That area is designed to let us know how a particular boat has been run. When we see those we are able to read the amount of wear in that area and determine if hte boat has been abused or if it has been cared for. Was the incidence a one time rough ride occurrence, or did an owner beat the living hockey out of it on four footers all day long for weeks. You can repair that glass tabbing, and fix the tell tale, though there is absolutely no reason. This one has been on a few three footers over time, though it is not abused and it is broken slightly from long term use and what appears could have been river conditions. Boat looks pretty clean and reasonably kept from the tell tale. Hope this helps! BCB
