Will new Erya fish flat??

I am going to get my last bass boat and deciding between the brands. Looking at the new Jag pics with Russ Lane fishing it seems to fish flat and pretty low to water. I think the Erya would be perfect for me and would want one identical in color and everything to the proto type. I just want to know will it fish flat or nose high. Besides that and a 9 series HB and minnkota fortex that boat is exactly what I would want. I do want the auto back light also. If it will I want to order one. I will have to borrow a boat for a while to fish from till they can build it if it is going to fish low and flat.Last edited by GOOFY on February 23rd, 2010, 6:24 pm, edited 1 time in total.

It will fish flatter than many, and not as flat as a Puma or Pantera IV.

Its a BCB, so it will not rock. The fundamental hull will fish much like any other BCB model.

Thank you. I know you have some work still to do but If I put in an order tomorrrow just like the one you have with different trolling motor and bigger gragh up front when could I ecpect to get the boat? Oh and auto light in rear. I am without right now and have been since 2007. Thought I was going to go back to Skeeter in a fx20 but this is a nice rig. I ran a p4 when they first came out and went a different direction more because dealer situation in my local area so I know you folks are good folks.

It will depend on when Rick and the R & D Staff finish the interior stringer and floor molds, though they hope to release in late April. There was no pricing yet, though they were working on that and the striping is going to be an option. The rest we have little knowledge on ourselves and they will be trickling information out as they get it. They probably will not release performance details until they have a production boat that is stock weighted. This one we understand is possibly heavier than production with the assembly. BCB

dang…. so if they get some numbers with the prototype… that are lets say 89 ish… then with a lighter hull on the production, it might do 91? lolDan Yonan. ———————————————————

If it rides better than the p4 and is easy to drive above 70 and fishes good and stable without rocking or when two people move around on same side it leans and rocks that is all I care about. I have never been in a bassboat over 73.4 and it was hard to drive with all the back end wanting to chine walk. All i heard was you have to learn how to drive it. Cant wait to talk to you more at basscat on the phone. Thanks
