Well the “chill” finally hit the middle USA and things are a bit nippy these days. This is one of the best times to fish our Ozarks waters. The fishing between Thanksgiving and New Years can be phenomenal! We have seen some of our best days when the snow was falling or the fall sun was shining. Of course that is when we have the most time to fish also. Though it really can add up to some memorable time on the water. The crowd is light and the action can be great! Pick a pretty day and go enjoy it! OR you can go Christmas shopping! BCB

This is one of my favorite times of the year for fishing. The hunters are in the woods giving all those big fat momma bass that are eating shad at an alarming rate a break so they wont be sore lipped when I get to um. Its a very good time for a big fish. I have caught several of my better bass this time of year. I like to throw jigs, really big plastics, or deep diving crank baits. I wish everyone luck in the coming months.
