My new to me, 2015 Cougar came with a BCB installed backup light. It doesnt work and I discovered that the power wire from the light isnt connected to the wiring harness.Which wire do I connect to?Thanks!
Looks like you will have to connect your light to the “blue wire” that is going to your “reverse solenoid”. This traces back to the 12 vdc that is applied to your vehicles reverse lights. You will need to acquire enough wire to go from the light to the front of the trailer and connectors to tie it all together. Make sure the light is connected to the trailer frame for ground too. Everyone should believe in something. I believe Ill just go fishing!
