I am looking at buying a boat for my brother, as he is going through a divorce and had to sell his rig. I have to keep the cost fairly low, but I still want a quality built boat. Looking for something older and cosmetic work is ok, just nothing structural. Boy, I would really like to keep it below $4k. I know that is asking a lot, but I cant really spend anymore than that on a gift.

I need to bump this back up. I am in the market for my brother again. I had a unforeseen setback earlier but have it all squared away now. If anyone has or know of an older cat in the $4k range I would be interested. Thanks guys.
