Well on my way back in today I started off, got on a plane and then could not get above around 50. Power head?http://www.vrbo.com/297770
When mine took a crap I got on plane and it just lost all power and before I could turn around it killed. Pull your plugs and look for aluminum build up on them. If not it might be the filters.
What kind of 250? If its the older efi it is probably the O2 sensor. Hpdi then check for a fouled plug or the fuel filter under the cowling.

Sounds like a plug to me…. Somehow you have a deal cylinder.
Drop it over to your dealership for some tech time and they will straighten it out.
