Topic: Yamaha Speedometer Gauge Question??

My Speedometer gauge isnt working and Im hoping that I just turned it off somehow. This gauge is linked to the GPS, but is not reading the MPH. Only showing two hash marks when running down the river.Did I somehow turn the MPH off, as the other functions are working correctly? Joe,Down in the front of your foot of your motor there is a small hole that gets plugged with debris. Take a matching size drill bit and turn it my hand. That should unclog the hole. Be careful not to break off the drill bit. That should get you fixed up.

Joe,If you gauges are the digital then it is tied into your GPS. If you have hummingbird, go into you menu (dont know exactly where, but you can scan through and find it) and make sure the NEMA is turned on. When I updated my hummingbird software and restored everything to default it turns the NEMA off. If you have lowrance then I have no clue, but I am sure someone will be along to help with that. Jay

Jay, you are correct. I assumed Joe had analog gauge setup. Oops!

Im pretty comfortable with now.Just waiting to get the Fury on her! Hopefully by October 2010. My goal is to hit the 75 MPH mark, then trade up to a faster rig. lol Your Signature …
