We just turn them occasionally.
2012 PII – The yellow bow roller….should it stay in a fixed position or should it actually “roll” as the keel contacts it when loading or unloading? Mine is fixed and is getting a bit of a groove in it where the angled sections join at the center of the roller. Do I need to purchase a replacement? Thanks.
I need a new one as well. Mine is getting wore out. And it leaves marks. Posted via TapaTalk for iPhone613 PIV w/ 200 MercIG: WarriorRiverCustomRods

I have been looking at the Ramp-N-Clamp but it is definitely not necessary.Dan
Takes me back several yrs ago with the old caracal. Since I used to fish by myself all the time I thought it would be handy to have one of these self locking devices. Worked fine for a little while thought I had the ticket. UNTILL one day I couldnt get it to unlock. Had to literally tear this thing apart. After that I went back to the old conventional . Been there ever since. Hey if u purchase one of these give us some feedback. Im sure these devices have come a long way.2013 PANTERA 2MERCURY 200 PRO XSMINNKOTA 80LB FORTREX25 fury

Because the roller is a bump stop and not a roller. The roller is not solid so that it will absorb some punishment which is why you are having to replace it. The harder solid ones will cause damage to the hull in some cases and the black rubber ones are softer. BCB
