Hello” BassCat Prop, Lake Havasu Here” I would also like to know how the 4 blade prop is running on the Puma STS,

I have current order in, (my 5th Cat) just probably another 6-8 weeks.. My dealership recommended The Bravo Fury 3 Blade”  I’m running a

300Merc. so dealerships are pretty much all over the place depending on area and attitude. I’m at sea level, 3 blade will usually run a little quicker,

but you do give up the handling capability. 4 or 5 Blade will always provide you a little better stability in the rougher water.

2018 Caracal” Owner, I just sold my Caracal 2018, few things about the split tanks” I would agree if your fishing alone, if does help you balance the weight evenly while driving” Basscat still hasn’t removed themself from the the valve switching tank” in the rear” You also always need to remember when you switch it on the dash it is only to the fuel gauge”.. NOT the tanks, you will forget” 🙂 As for the entry ladder I was very sturdy and very helpful for boarding” from the trailer.

The Caracal, is a great riding and performance boat” for smaller lakes, I traded mine in, as it didn’t hold enough fuel for the bigger lakes here in the West” where I fish or when you want to fish 3-4 days straight. As for the Net slot” don’t waste your time using it” snags stuck wrapped in your rods.

Overcoming the Fuel Tank Switch” I had a auto fuel pump installed removing the manual switch, with this I had a toggle switch installed on the dash to control where I’m pulling fuel from.. No stopping while your on plane”  or forgetting to switch the dial.

It’s worth the $$$, I will do this on my New STS as soon as it arrives.   I’ve had 5 Cat’s my 6th one is on order” and even my 2023 Puma STS, has the switch to separate in the rear”

Just an FYI” they do make a steering wheel insert of 1″, 2″, 3″, which moves the steer wheel closer to to you, but  it will allow you more room between the wheel and the graphs.

That does, look a little snug” I’m waiting on my STS,  I’m having the 15″ Lowrance installed on my dash with a Bracket.. Basscat has pictures of the Lowrance on the dash..

Repairing the Bottom, well, if it’s that rough you’ll have to gradually, smooth it out with

sand paper, working all the way 150-300-600 up to 1500-2000 wet dry, rubbing

compound will polish it back up, it will take some work and dedication. plenty of videos

    on YouTube.

I agree, with the information above, The net location” well it looks good, but it will get snagged underneath on the rivets, and if your rods are next to it Yikes, it’s a mess, just be careful and not be in a hurry retrieving your net”
