Ranger520, Good question! This is my 2nd Jaguar. I had a 2010 and I know what it ran empty, but I filled the 2012 with tackle and took off as soon as I got it. I have it pretty much empty now to sell it, so I wanted to do some runs, like it is, to give you some true numbers. I went to Lake Blackshear this morning with a 24 pitch Tempest on the boat. It ran 74 mph by GPS at 6350 rpm. With my normal load I get more like 71-73. There are those days when Ive drawn a big guy as a partner and he brought his whole boatload of tackle that I struggle to get 68.I had 2 z521 Rangers before my Bass Cats, and 2 520 Rangers before that. I think the Jaguar sits a little higher and gives a dryer ride. I also think it is 1-2 MPH faster than a Z521.I have some 25 pitch props that might have given a little more speed today, but the 24 is nice when you have a heavy load.
