Thanks for the responses, it is really appreciated.Im in southern Ontario so the temps right now are in the 60s during the day. This was full tournament load, full tank, full livewells, 2 – 200 pound guys, all gear. Actually noticed no difference with full or empty livewells. I had it out for a first run with just myself and no gear, 3/4 tank of gas and I found I would hit the same speed 67 and it would start to chine walk, with all the gear and 2 guys Im doing the same speed with just a ever so slight chine. The hole shot is great which I would expect with the four blade. I have discovered as I read on this board that it runs better not trimmed out all the way. Im not a speed freak so good holeshot and overall performance is important. Lake Erie/Niagara River is my home waters so running in the rough stuff happens way more than flat calm waters.I have not moved or measured the jack plate height yet, the guy I bought it from said he left it where the dealership set it up. Do you measure the shaft below the pad when trimmed all the way down? Thanks!
