I have played with mine(2017 eyra merc 250 26p fury) from 2″ ptp to 3.5″ Ptp. The lower you go the more chine walk i had. At 2″ the steering torque was unbearable. I have it at 2.5″ ptp and feel that it is the sweet spot on this boat. Btw, basscat had it set at 2.5″ ptp from the factory. First boat i have bought where it was set up properly from the builder.
