I just received new 2021 Cougar with a 300 Pro XS in August. Have a few more break-in hours but I can tell you it’s a beast of an engine. Last time out I hit 80 with no problem with more throttle left. After watching those recently published driving videos allowing plenty of time for boat and motor to dial in and keeping pressure on the steering wheel really helped keep it under control.
