I am running an 07 with a 225 proXS with a detwiler jack plate, I run a 26p trophy, it will turn 5950-6000 rpms, top end is just over 75 mph so far, I only have about 10 hrs on it so I have not done much in the line of tweeking on it, it runs good and handles good with this set up, I may try a 27p for the cold weather months but the 26 does a good job so far.

As billus said it will depend state to state, I have Progressive on my 07 Puma, the premium is a little over $600 because I live in Fl. If you fish tournaments make sure they cover your boat if its in a tournament, a lot of companies dont.

I ran a 26 Bravo 1 on the same rig, my partner now owns the boat and is running the same prop. It will run mid 70s and it jumps out of the hole.
